Puppy Developmental Program

To help your puppy get off to a head start, we implement proper puppy enrichment using the proven techniques of the Puppy Culture training method and the Badass Breeder Guidebook. This includes a  structured program beginning on Day 3 of life to provide neurological and sensory stimulation. The time and effort we put into the development of your puppy, from the moment they are born until you take them into your home, helps to ensure a well-adjusted and highly developed family pet. 

Between 6-7 weeks of age, puppies will visit our veterinarian to receive a health check up and first vaccinations. Deworming will also be provided beginning at 2 weeks old and will continue as recommended on schedule. 

At seven weeks, we temperament test the pups. This helps in choosing the puppy who is the best fit for your family’s lifestyle and needs. While this is not full-proof, it does provide clues into the personality and behavioral expectations of your pup and can aid in making your final choice for your new family member. 

To help your puppy housebreak easier, we start potty training from the time the puppies can walk on their own. Beginning at age 3 weeks, we teach pups to eliminate in a designated area and as they grow, transition to going outdoors. We also familiarize your pup with crate training by introducing them to a crate and teaching that it is a positive and comfortable place. 

These pups come to you socialized with humans from age one through older adults and are surrounded by other canine and feline species within our household. They are exposed to varied social and environmental stimuli to encourage curiosity and exploration while developing calm and well-adjusted personalities.
